In 1987 GV.BIKES moved to its present site in Whitehall.

                   Geoff Hodges, the proprietor has been in the motorcycle trade in Taunton for 30years,the first 10years working as a mechanic
                                                        in a local Honda/Suzuki dealership before he set up a business on the present site.

                                    Antony Snell joined the business in 1988 as an apprentice rising to his present position of chief mechanic.

                                                          Jimmy Hodges the new apprentice recently joined the family business full time.

              All have been involved in various forms of motorcycle sport for several years. Geoff being a familiar sight at motorcycle speed hill climbs,  

                                                               and Antony three times former South Somerset Motocross Champion.
